Just what we were looking for over our full size bed. Provides an additional light source in the middle of the room and a pleasant breeze right next to the bed. Normally we run the fan at low or medium speed. Definitely provides enough air movement for our purposes. The assembly and installation instructions were very easy although I would suggest installing the bulbs before hanging the item. I won't change them when they're burned out.

love this fan and it is very well made. You need to plan the installation properly. I used at least two conductors and some boards to hold it in place while wiring. This carries some weight, but it can be done. Don't forget to insert the bulbs before hanging it will be easier. I've switched to LED and brighter bulbs than those in the kit but still within the recommended maximum wattage. Installed by an electrician as it had to be moved rather than left in the same location as the previous unit. This is a heavy duty well made fan lamp. It says it's for small spaces, but make sure it doesn't clutter up your space. Lighting bulbs that come with it? Very weak. So if you need more intensity, how smart? This is a very nice fan that fits nicely in my home office with a 13ft ceiling (24" bottom bar added). Assembly and installation was easy. good weight at 27 lbs. However, the light output is almost non-existent. I even changed the included 300 lumen bulbs to 500 lumens and it's still anemic. Better than the picture. Here are some notes on installation and operation. Installation took an hour. A pro can do it in 20 minutes. The hanging bracket is too big and needs to be replaced to replace most of the existing brackets which was easy. The instructions say to use washers for this, but there weren't any.
