Fanimation MA7966DZ Kellan Ceiling Bronze Review

Cool fan but the belt is too noisy. We tried rubber bands on the pulleys (as recommended by another reviewer), it helped briefly, but then the tick, tick, tick (from rivets) was replaced by squeak-squeak-squeak from rubber bands. I'm not very happy with this setup now.

We have had this fan motor for 2 years now and it has stopped working. He's been dying for a few months. We found the speed to drop off and then turn off and then back on again. Let me put it this way, we used the engine continuously for two years. I don't know if that's an exaggeration, but it still only lasted two years. I'm just trying to figure out how to fix or replace this.

I currently have 0 of 2 on working engines. The first came in, made a lot of noise, vibrated in an unsafe manner, and had no ground wire. I haven't tested the one I just got as a replacement, but that's also missing the green ground wire, so I'm waiting for an electrician to check. Very upset because I now have holes in the ceiling, utility bills and nothing to show for poorly made (but expensive) junk from China.
