Works great and easy to install!

Good switch/remote. I've read reviews that it takes a battery like the remote control that came with a fan but it doesn't. I'm getting power from the line but still sending commands through the console. It's very easy to install and works great.

Great backup plan! the best in accessories

Bought 4 of these switches with the Fanimation Blitz I bought. A contingency plan was required in case the remote control was lost/damaged. Deducted a star because one of the switch's backlight brightness adjustments sometimes works, and sometimes you have to press a lot harder than necessary to get it to work.

It's not worth it! on lights and ceiling fans

This wireless switch is useless. After installing it, I found that the wall mounted speed controller wasn't always turning the fan on at full speed. I have two Fanimation ceiling fans on my porch and use one controller to control both. Since both fans had the same timing, I knew it wasn't a faulty fan. I went back to the manual remote to control both fans.

Easy installation and now I don't have to look for my remote anymore

I wasn't a big fan of the remote so I wanted something more permanent. That's cool. It was easy to install. The faceplate doesn't look great—it probably doesn't fit anywhere in your home—but it does fit Lutron Decora faceplates (and probably anything that goes with a rocket switch). Maybe a little more expensive than it looks but I am very happy with the purchase.

I think the transition is fine - a bad website description resulted in a ton of extra bucks and disappointment - can't go back!

Caution! This switch is for Fanimation fans who *don't have DIP switches*. We thought we had electrical issues due to strange behavior when using the fan remote. They called an electrician, the cost is $$$$. THE RETURN WINDOW IS CLOSED as we called an electrician and spoke to the right person at the factory to find out that this product will not work with our fan. Finding an electrician for such a small job took a long time.

DC Fan Single Permanent Switch

I wanted a permanent switch for our outdoor DC fan after the remote was removed from the makeshift porch. It was easy to mount and mount to a standard switch/GFCI wall plate cover like any other switch to nest with all other switches. Much like a remote control, although the switch sensitivity is uneven at best.
