Not brass! in plumbing

Well, since when is plated brass called solid? It won't last. They are also not galvanized. A simple magnetic test tells me they are rich in iron.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • A little variety

NOT BRASS! False Advertising

These screws are made of steel with an anodized or brass finish. For my application I had to grind down some heads. I'm hoping they're at least stainless steel, but the magnet sticks to it strongly so it's unlikely. I expect they will start rusting soon and I'll have to replace them again within a year. I don't understand how these dishonest traders can sell on Revain.

Pros
  • One piece construction

Lightweight and durable on the toilet Spare parts

The product comes with two screws, two metal washers and two rubber washers and fasteners. It was really easy to install and fit great. I couldn't use the rubber washers because they were too wide and I couldn't get the cover over the studs, but the metal washers fit perfectly. It generally took five minutes to remove the old plastics and replace them with metals.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Defects present

Fits Tushy if you need longer screws

I needed longer screws to fix the Tushy bidet head under the toilet seat. The bidet head has a plastic bracket that goes under the toilet seat brackets, making the original screws too short. They worked great with lots of extra length. They were slightly larger than the original screws and barely too big to fit through the toilet seat bracket. Luckily I'm good with a dremel and was able to make the plastic holes slightly larger in just a few minutes. I think my particular toilet seat mounts…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • poorly thought out
