Description of Fantes Italian Corkscrew Market Original

Fantes Cousin Euginio’s Italian Bell Corkscrew easily removes corks from wine bottles. Easy to use; simply center the worm on the cork and turn the comfort-grip handle; removes bottle caps, too. Bell shape and 5-turn ‘worm’ create a powerful leverage to unseat wine corks with the turn of the handle. Made in Italy by Ghidini, Europe’s premier corkscrew manufacturer. Stores easily in the kitchen gadget drawer; wipe with a clean, damp cloth.

Easiest to Use: Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

I can use any corkscrew but some require more strength and may have to fight the bottle to pull the cork out. I remembered something like this years ago - just keep twisting and the cork will pop out by itself.

Pros
  • Corkscrew and Bottle Opener
Cons
  • I'll add later

I love this corkscrew

This is my favorite corkscrew and I've been using it for at least 10 years and my old one is bent. I couldn't remember where I originally bought it and I'm glad Revane got that and got a new one two days later. Great quality and you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

The best wine opener!

Already purchased. I had the same corkscrew for 15 years, purchased from Pier 1, until one day it completely fell apart leaving me looking for a replacement. I looked everywhere for the same wine corkscrew until I found it here and I'm so glad I found it!

Pros
  • Winged corkscrew
Cons
  • A long time ago

The best wine opener!

Buy now. I had the same corkscrew bought at Pier 1 for 15 years until one day it completely fell apart and forced me to look for a replacement. I looked everywhere for the same wine corkscrew until I found it here and I'm so glad I found it!

Pros
  • Made in Italy by Ghidini, Europe's leading manufacturer of corkscrews
Cons
  • Crumpled

The simplest wine bottle opener.

Love it! We had one, but without a call, and we happily grabbed the bottle between our legs and pulled the cork. And yet sometimes the cork broke. The bell pops the cork out of the bottle as you keep spinning, and then just twist it a little and pop, wine for all!

Pros
  • Easy to use; simply center the worm on the cork and twist the comfortable handle; also removes bottle caps
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

A simple corkscrew that works

This is the second corkscrew of this type that I have owned. The first piece held to the neck of a wine bottle broke after several years of use. If the cast metal bell were made stronger it would make a fantastic corkscrew. But for the price, it's good value. It will pull out the cork so that it can be pulled out quite easily. I've tried other prettier corkscrews but I keep coming back to this one.

Pros
  • Cousin Eugenio's Italian Fantes Bell easily removes wine bottle corks
Cons
  • Weak
