Well-made Cake Server

Very good quality pie spatula. The serrated side is great for cutting the pie crust and the angle of the handle to the bottom is good for removing the pie from the pie pan.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Best low quality in cutlery

Bought a cake server and ladle. Thin, low quality stamped steel. Very thin. Uncomfortable grip with sharp edges. Farberware isn't what it used to be. Spend a little more to get something decent and higher quality. Advertised as "professional" quality which is misleading.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Old

Decent quality at Dining & Entertainment

This is a decent quality server. I wish the handle was more ergonomic since it's just a flat piece of metal, but that doesn't detract from its usefulness. Once upon a time the side had a serrated edge to cut through tough crusts and is a good size for serving pies, quiche or other pie dishes.

Pros
  • Worth the money

Rusts quickly through stainless steel

Works as a cake server but the serrated edge doesn't cut the cake very well. What I'm most disappointed with is that it's made of stainless steel and mine is already rusting. The dishwasher was purchased on December 11, 2018 and has only had a few cycles. Ironically, where it says stainless steel, it's rusty.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Some issues

Love this cake server

So far this is the best cake server I have ever had. I've complained for years about cake servers having to have a cutting side, and this one has. We used it many times in less than a month, we had it. It cuts through the crust without crumbling and cracking as much as other blunt pie cutters. You can probably cut yourself on the sharp side, so it's not a good idea to let children under the age of 8 work with this unsupervised.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not sure

Great cake server! - Cutlery

After my mother's cake server broke over the holidays I wanted to get a replacement and after some searching and comparing I settled on this one. I like that it's solid, especially since their old one was a two piece and cracked at the joint. The serrated edge comes in handy when the cake or brownie needs a little more convincing to cut smoothly and feels like a decent quality tool without being superfluous and unwieldy. We find it very easy to maintain and the glossy finish is just lovely when

  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Hard to say

A piece of cake!

Who would have thought that a cake server would become something more? After searching through all the local stores, I settled on the best option. revenge This server was actually "heavier" than I expected, and the advanced technology on it is actually sharp enough to slice and serve every type of cake I've ever made. I would also say that this product has retained the rust free quality better than a number of other products that claim to be rust free. Not the cheapest tool you could find for…

Pros
  • The server has a serrated edge to cut through stubborn scabs.
Cons
  • Crumpled

A touch of elegance at a bargain price

My test of the quality of flat clothing and kitchen utensils is to take an object and try to bend it. I have limited arm strength so it's not like the Hulk turning an item into a pretzel, but it does affect the paraphernalia a lot. This one doesn't bend. It flexes a little but is strong, attractive, well made and well finished. There is no seam at the junction of the handle, so there is no accumulation of bacteria. I replace all of my kitchen utensils with these stitches as they are a breeding…

Pros
  • The cake server is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
