DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR AIRHORN. NOT A WORTHY COMPRESSOR!

I bought and installed a horn. The horn didn't work with the factory horn button so I bought it thinking it would solve my problem without drilling or anything. The button itself is cool and small, with everything you need to connect. HOWEVER, IT DOES NOT HAVE THE POWER TO START THE AIRBURNER COMPRESSOR. I had to buy a button with more current and now I have to drill and mount it.

This switch is used to turn on the relay. Not for direct high current start.

I read several reviews that said the switch stopped working shortly after first use. This would make sense if there was a lot of current flowing through the switch. This switch is for relay control, not high current transfer. For this purpose it works perfectly. In my situation I used it to replace the power button on the front of an old computer and it worked really well for that purpose as it also includes a very nice soft plastic double stick pad instead of cheap duct tape. Functional, but one is needed.

I'm giving it 3 stars because I found out this week when I also installed it with the Farbin horn harness (COLOR IN car horn, 12v, loud two tone waterproof car horn, snail electric horn- Kit universal for All 12V Cars (Blue Horn with 12V Wiring Harness) that require an in-line fuse where one wire goes to 12V hot voltage It does not come with any of them, and it is really necessary the 12V button wiring for safety and protection, especially if someone's relay on the double beep side is blown.
