basically a voltmeter, nothing else

would only cause tension, I didn't enter the other positions, an upgrade is possible for a surcharge, but not really, there was no answer then update button. Customer service is incomprehensible, will cut and paste the garbage instructions.

Quick Scan: Tools and Equipment

The scanner is easy to use, my car's check engine light is on, it reads two codes and gives me detailed information about them. It also reads the voltage on your battery. The app is very easy to use: just plug in your scanner, turn on Bluetooth and connect to the app and you're good to go. This is a great deal on a Bluetooth scanner, inexpensive and really useful.

Great OBD2 scanner so handy

I needed a scanner to check if my exhaust system was ready for a smog test. I found that this OBD2 scanner comes with Faslink software to get all the readings I need and more. I can even clean up the code. I can even view the readings on my iPhone to show key information like battery voltage, RPM, MAF, etc. Using Bluetooth without dangling cords is so convenient.

Slightly more advanced

This code scanner is a little more advanced than I was ready for. I'm not a mechanic but "Dad made sure we could take care of ourselves." The truck wouldn't start, it was the only vehicle that had me walking to work at 4am, I didn't learning how to set up/use the app, I had to quickly learn the code output and get started repairing it. I'm sure it's a good option for mechanics, it just wasn't the product I wanted.

A must for all car manufacturers who want to save a lot of money. EASY TO USE WITH THE APP. MUCH BETTER TO CONNECT OBD

Saves you a lot of money by being able to diagnose without having to go to a mechanic. Provides much more information than the plug-in ODB scanner. It also allows you to program keys, which saves a lot of money. Most car owners have minimal knowledge about car repairs which can cost you a lot of money and in some cases make you think the problem is much worse and trick you into selling a perfectly good car. Some car problems are easy to fix and untrained non-mechanics can fix them and save $100
