Bought to replace a cheap swivel on my work stool. It has ball bearings all around and is made of thick steel. It should hold up MUCH better than the flimsy 8 ball bearing steel junk that was on the stool.

This item was much better than the original swivel. Stronger and heavier metal, three times more bearings and a much stronger center spindle rivet. They fit without me having to modify the frames of my bar stools in any way, just remove the old ones and fit the new ones. I replace all my current ones with these and then start on the patio bar stools. I can wholeheartedly recommend these units.
