These fasteners separate with two light presses. The bulbs on the male side have nowhere to go, so the metal on top is chipping. Connections break when they go together. I liked the price, but I get about 1/5 successful tries and I know how to collect shots. trade/buy with caution.

I'm just starting to use these heavy duty buttons on a cardigan. I loved them when they arrived and immediately put them aside for use on my next project. I have now realized that I am missing all of the button insets at the bottom of the button (female). Impossible to use both without this part. I hope the seller sees my comment and corrects it.

This is a terrible product. If I could rate these images a 0, I would. They are very weak and thin and not designed for thick material. They also came with no instructions so I printed them online from the descriptions which are TERRIBLE. I've riveted a lot before, but never broke. I ordered a set of 30 but it only lasted about 10 shots - I messed up so many (they were bent, bits fell off etc.) that I barely had enough for my project.
