Very colorful and bright. My almost 3 year old has a very busy body so I thought this would work on her, she has enjoyed using it for a while. I think I enjoy it a lot more than she does. My rating is based on the fact that the toy is a bit heavy and it might hurt someone if it falls. I wish the white material was rubber rather than hard plastic, that would make a really good teether.

We had the original dimple and thought it would be interesting for color recognition etc - didn't realize it said Spanish on the back. However, they missed a great opportunity to connect the British and Spanish. You might think that the numbers would match backwards, English and Spanish and vice versa, but that's not true. So my kid shows that the green number "2" is flipping it over and the green number "10" is on the Spanish size. / Diz'.

COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING. I received it today and was wondering why there was no sound when I opened the package. I was sad that the batteries were probably dead. I took it apart to examine it and there is literally no sound in there?! It should say nimbers, but there's absolutely nothing. I am sending it back and buying something else for my daughter. What a waste of money. I couldn't find any negative reviews here either, so something seems fishy.

My 3 year old autistic grandson discovered a Dimple toy at our local library. He fell in love with her immediately and played with her for thirty minutes. This cored item is an expanded version of what is in the library. The toy is well designed and nicely packaged. There is no doubt that with a gift you are giving a quality product. This was my grandson's favorite item in his Easter basket. I'm sure we'll acquire all the different versions of Dimpl over time.
