It only took me 20 minutes to remove 2 old cartridges and install 2 new ones (although I was a little annoyed that my Moen faucet needed cartridges after only 2 years of use) . TIP: The old cartridge got stuck a bit, so I used a box cutter between the old cartridge and the valve assembly to gently pry it loose.

I bought two packs of these replacement parts to stop the slow but constant dripping. Both started dripping within a week of use. Note. I put in a used spare Moen cartridge I had laying around to replace one of the aftermarket versions and the leak stopped. This convinced me that the problem was with the cartridge and not the faucet.

In our case we needed a Moens puller to remove the nut holding the cartridge in place. Then removing the cartridge was a BEAR because it's been there for almost 30 years (damn it's been dripping for at least five years). When installing, ensure that the inlet of the cartridge is aligned with the outlet of the supply line. This stopped our five year old leak.

Although they were easy to install, after 3 months the faucet is dripping worse than before installation. They were fine after the first install, in fact they were impressed with how smoothly they turned. Fast forward 90 days and the faucet will drip faster than before - one word to describe them, AVOID, also the "return date" was 30 days from ordering.

I thought I was bargaining. It doesn't work if it doesn't work! They were easy to fit and looked like the originals, but lo and behold, after about 2 days we were dripping constantly. I ended up with HD and got branded replacements for twice the price, which worked like a charm. The signature part felt sticky rather than smooth, and it took more effort to align the handle to tighten. No obvious differences, but it influenced their work.

I don't always write reviews but this one deserves very positive reviews. First, the price was beyond anything I could find at local hardware stores or anywhere else online. When the cartridges arrived I compared them to another new cartridge I bought from the local water supply (at a very high price). Although I have not installed these cartridges, the quality seems excellent. And to make my purchase even better, they arrived much quicker than I expected.

Easy to install. Worked well for 2 weeks. Started leaking after two weeks. Bought a double pack and installed a second valve. There are no more leaks.
