Perfect for my setup and matches the Venetian bronze color so well I can't say it's not a genuine part. My only complaints: too expensive compared to the cost of the entire package. - I didn't have to buy it because Delta had to ship it with their fairing set or the option to get a longer sleeved fairing set.

This sliding sleeve is perfect for the longer and older Delta valve currently installed in my shower. It would be ideal if Delta informed customers about the difference in cartridge length between old and new cartridges. Before doing my research, I figured I needed to redo my plumbing work. That was after a long tile work in the shower. Luckily I found trimmers at Revain. My shower set is matte black. I couldn't find a matte black case. But the bronze is dark enough to get through.

The trim kit I received to adapt my faucet to the new oiled brass of my new hardware had a much shorter trim sleeve. Honestly both sizes should be included. Delta offered to sell me this case when I asked customer service about the size difference. Yes. Thank you guys.
