These are good gifts 🎁 for making candles

My daughter, who is just learning how to make candles, really liked this set. I think 100% soy wax is the safest wax. My daughters make candles to support their mother's business. The wooden river was well lit and flowed slowly.

Good buy - small problem with the packaging

Just received the kit a minute ago. This is not my first candle making kit. The deal was great for everything you get and that's why it's a good buy for beginners. My only issue is that some of the candle jars are dented and could have been better packaged. Otherwise so far so good, but I haven't made the candle yet. Maybe I'll update my review once I've made the candle.

Suitable for beginners

Wax does NOT hold the smell of oils well. I used half a bottle of expensive scented oil and the candle has almost no scent. Otherwise you have to be careful with the wick. Once it's attached to the bottom zip it in place BEFORE pouring the wax, if it's not attached pull the wick up and you'll be left with a ton of wax. The jars are too hot to hold when the wax soaks in. It's decent for the most part, but the quality of the wax isn't great as you can barely smell the oil.

This is a great kit for a well known maker or hobbyist like me. This is not a complete set so it includes everything you need to make 8 Tin Candles plus a few extras. I haven't used up all of my wax to see how far I can stretch it, but supplies are only $24.99. The price is what makes this set such an amazing collection of consumables. The jars provided are not fireproof or fireproof, so they must be placed on a fireproof and fireproof base. It's not a big deal and I received the stickers…

Plenty of wax supply and high quality soy wax - burns clean - suitable for beginners but not a melting pot

I know of several candle making kits. I also know about candle making. This is a starter kit but lacks some basic tools. The biggest advantage of this kit over others available is the ample supply of 4 pounds of soy wax. I used soy wax in this kit and it burns clean, dries evenly and smells nice. Most kits contain between 16 ounces and 2 pounds of wax. This large stash is a really good start to candle making. The set includes wicks, wooden wicks, crucibles, wick stickers and wick holders…
