I would suggest that you spray the inside of an anti-static cover before each wear to reduce the tangles that inevitably result from static electricity build-up.

I really like this thing, it caps all the hard to cover parts of the face. It's very thick and warm and also has an adjustable strap to make it as tight as you want in the cold. I really like this because it's well made and saves kids the hassle of buying hats and scarves that they often lose.

My daughter goes outside to play at school in -20F. She really likes this cat treatment hat and will really wear it. She is 9 years old and fits great but I can wear her tight enough but small enough to keep her warm. She says it keeps her nose and face warm during breaks and bus rides. I washed it once, it's holding up well. Very happy with this purchase.

I bought this product for my daughter. She loves tobogganing but hates having snow blowing in her face. Using ski goggles helped and now she enjoys sledding even more. The cat ears and muzzle are a nice bonus. Fleece is very warm and stretchy. There is a clip that you can use to tighten the hood around your face. I see her wear it 'til it falls apart.
