Description of High-performance Fdit PTC Car Fan Air 🔥 Heater (12V 100W) - Ideal for Compact Room Spaces

【Safety and security】The PTC car space heater has the advantages that traditional heating elements doesn't have, such as constant temperature heating and high thermal conversion rate. No fire& flame will be generated while using. We hope this small product could produce more warm air for you at this cold winter. 【Small heater for small space】The original 100W heater is small space heater, which is portable and suitable for 0.5 cubic space. To meet differnt heating requirement, 100W/150W/250W are developed from this month. More optional power alternative provided. Those space heaters are made for heating, warming and dehumidification. 【Stability and durability】The compact design will make it more durable to use in daily life. The general standard is that the power attenuation is less than 10% after 2000 hours usage. And for larger space, maybe you could install 2 or more heaters in the room.(width: 2.36inch height:1.65inch). 【Energy saving】This PTC heater fan have characteristics of automatic energy saving. This system allows an automatic regulation of the heating power within certain ranges. When the air was warmed, it could consume less power energy than before. 【Quality Assurance】 Please notice that this authentic item is authorized by Fdit Brand, sold by Socialme US team.

small and simple but not 100W

I don't know why. Mine is connected to 12V and should be 100W but only draws 4A at 12V which is closer to 50W. I may have a 24V device, but I am assuming they are the same elements but wired in series rather than parallel as mine. A very good device, but I have calculated that the heat dissipation compared to the losses is about 100W, therefore it cannot reach the desired temperature but approach it over time. but that means it works non-stop just to keep up. prefers a little freedom of action.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • can I add anything else

Much weaker than stated. The fan has worked for 8 hours.

This 100 watt heater draws 4 amps at 12 volts. That's 48 watts. I use it to heat the inside of a DLP printer stored in a 50 degree room to 75 degrees. He can do it. hardly. If you're really good, please tell me. I gave it a second star because it gets really hot. I also have a 150W version. This runs at 10 amps - 120 watts. This one is close enough to spec that I can give it the green light. UPDATE: The fan on this model broke after 8 hours of use. I do not recommend.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Looks good, does what it's supposed to do

I've only bench tested this heater but haven't installed it yet. At the same time it seems to heat and blow well and works as it should. It's small so don't expect much. I'm a trucker and sometimes need to sleep on the road in my double cab Chevy, so I think this will work to keep me warm in the truck at night. I didn't expect it to heat up the room or anything like that. Seems definitely good for a vehicle though. I'm running it on an isolated battery FYI. I read a lot of conflicting reviews…

  • Best in niche

  • Good but not great

Works very well for electric heaters

If the heating element and fan run on 12V I wouldn't call it a heater. The fan is blowing too much air for the element to get hot enough. However, if you're running a 5V fan or similar, the element can heat up a lot more, and it generates heat well. Being a PTC heating element, once it reaches a certain temperature it will stop producing heat as the resistance through the element increases as it heats up. You need to know what you are doing as it is not really a plug and play heater. Just make…

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Reliability

They are great for making small heated incubators on the microscope stage for live cell imaging. Make a plexiglass box with one of these (you'll need to cut out the curved plastic fan face first), add a microcontroller (I like the PIC18F2455) and a TMP275 temperature sensor for feedback, and you have a simple incubator at the top of the stage. The fan and heater draw about 4A, so you need a relay for the uController to turn them on and off.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Need box to install, bought electronics box on Amazon

Works for what I needed it for. It's not much heat but I needed something to keep my water pump in my RV from freezing, 12 volts and 10 amps max (my pump is mounted outside the RV in a bay). Fold about 3'x2'x2' and does the trick. I even installed a thermostat. The cost is about $60.00 when all is complete and a little work is done, but I'm happy with it. In the morning it was 14 degrees outside and in 100 minutes it got warmer to 34 degrees. If it stayed on it would stay slightly above zero…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons

Don't know if it can be trusted

So I ordered a 150w 60mm version of this model from another seller and expected it to peak at maybe 75w , as reports have come in that this version peaks at 50 watts. It ended up using 194 watts before I turned it off - about 10 seconds of work. Nothing good. This arrived later that day (today) and I ran the same test. Left it running for 20 minutes and never saw power draw over 68W including loss when going from 120VAC to 12VDC through the power supply. Sufficient for me, even if not 100…
