Would definitely not buy these again. Something hanging on the wall weighing only about a pound fell in the middle of the night. I barely fixed one to the wall, ripped it off and it peeled off the paint. Another just won't last more than a few hours. However, some others remained on the wall.

So the good news is that it holds up really well. It can hold more than the weight limit. Bad news: Don't leave her on the paint for as long as I did (4-5 months) as she ripped the paint stain off my ceiling and walls. Heated the glue and still peeled off the paint. Just glue them to the metal. DO NOT APPLY TO PAINTED SURFACES.

Product works until you choose to remove it. I followed the directions for blow drying, pressing "base" etc. But it DOESN'T WORK and leaves a superglue, PERMANENT stickiness. Because of the residue/stickiness these hooks leave behind, I'm being charged $800 to redo a wall! If you live in a rental property, DO NOT USE THESE HOOKS. Look at the picture where there was an unremovable sticky mess.

I have a porch with an insulated aluminum roof. I didn't want to drill holes in it, but I did want to hang a bell. I tried the suction cups and they didn't stick due to the very slightly textured surface. They are stuck and amazing! They are under the roof, but in the coastal zone with high humidity. They've been there for almost a week and they're still holding on. I can't recommend them enough if you're hanging anything under 10 pounds and don't want to punch holes in the ceiling or wall.

Used these hooks to organize my kitchen when we moved into a new house (for two). Since the house was smaller than our previous house, I tried to get creative with the kitchen storage. I used hooks to hang items in closet doors and they worked really well. We have lived in the house for over 3 years and all the hooks are there. I always make sure to let them sit overnight before hanging anything on the hooks as directed and have had no problems. I've never had to remove hooks so I can't comment

If you will NEVER need to move or remove these hooks, they work great. But if you try to rearrange them, you'll rip the drywall. The product description states that the hooks are "easy to clean and move without damaging the finish". Being able to move or remove them without damaging the wall is the main reason we bought these particular hooks. I'm really surprised at the strength of these adhesive hooks. I bought it to use as a suspension file case. I converted an old TV cabinet into a place for a printer, modem, files and stationery. It's a beautiful mahogany and I didn't want to damage it. On the inside door I used one of these hooks, let it sit for a day or two, then removed it with a hair dryer to soften the glue. I am very happy with these hooks. They are very strong. Our office walls are "modular office walls" so I can't just drill/screw/nail anything into the walls. I wanted to hang 4 metal magazine racks. Metal frames weigh 3.5 pounds each. These hooks were supposed to hold so much weight so I ordered them. I hung the magazine racks on the wall with these adhesive hooks. Awesome! I never expected this thing to hold a heavy wreath (20+ pounds) on corrugated (yes, fluted) ceramic tile for the entire 8 weeks the wreath was up.
