Nice little scratching post; suitable for older cats

We got this because our fat cat has a hard time climbing other trees designed for the more agile kittens in the world. She has no problem climbing it and seems very comfortable at the top. In fact, they all enjoy lounging and chatting with the birds outside. It is also very attractive, just like a real piece of furniture. It's well made and easy to put together, and not only are the cushions secure, but I think they'll be easy to keep clean. So far, half of the cats have found it a comfortable…

The holes are horribly misaligned, cheap Chinese crap don't waste your time or money

My heart sank when I saw these words: Made in China. I didn't realize it before, fool. It's quite a stylish piece, but with all the usual problems - misaligned holes, "cute" fastener ideas that don't work if the pieces don't line up. The "screwdriver" they give you is *too small for screws* so you can't get any leverage. As a result, the final design, if you can call it that, was wobbly and wobbly when using the recommended method. I just took a drill and replaced their "cute" fastening idea…

Difficult to assemble, expected more for the premium

Love the aesthetic but a bit small for large cats (my 14 lb boy hangs on the ledge at either end of the top and middle platforms and tries to lie down). Putting it together was a bit of a hassle, mainly because some of the holes weren't drilled correctly - some of the holes with the plastic in the hole were crooked, so the screw ended up crooked, making it difficult to align/join different parts properly together.
