Very simple, I have a fencing tool that works well so I didn't have to buy anything. I think a large vise would work as well.

These clamps are great and have been used to replace CV boots on ATVs. The clamping point is a bit small which makes clamping difficult, I had to have a second pair of hands to tighten mine.

Very simple and easy to install. You'll need a good crimping tool to secure these terminals, but they're very reliable. I've driven my Land Cruiser 200 miles and my CV boots haven't leaked one iota.

These are the simplest main axle boot clamps I have ever used. Wow, that's all I have to say. You wrap it around the bot, pull it as tight as you can, tuck the end into the holes and pinch the edge and you're tight as hell!

I've struggled to find good boot clips. Neither the hardware store nor the auto parts store near me had them. would recommend. They have been on my truck for months and have not slipped. I would also recommend a good pair of pliers otherwise you won't be able to tighten them enough.

Those are big brackets! Not nearly as subtle as the crap you get at your local auto shop. They're heavy duty, fairly easy to install with the right crimping tool, and look like they'll hold up very well. The price was absolutely perfect. More than enough for front CVs (internal and external) along with a few spares.

A year ago my minivan lost a larger clamp on the CV boot. The local auto parts stores have really bad replacement clamps, I tried using them but lost them after a few days. Then I bought a set of 20 pieces. at Revain they were of better quality, but still too strong, and after a while they were lost. They appear to be of much better quality and thicker metal. For anyone concerned about clip breakage. Do not worry! They are stronger than OEM and there is no way to snap them in place with a proper crimping tool.
