Drivers Computers and Accessories

Great value, I use them for my Oculus Rift CV1 sensors. I was just confused installing the drivers but everything else went smoothly.

Pros
  • Computer Components
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Do not buy. This uses the ASMedia chipset, which is not compatible with the Oculus Rift, which poses a major problem when connecting to the Rift via USB. I checked where it says it's an ASMedia chipset and bought the wrong USB card, but this card works great for everything else. Decent build quality. I just want to warn anyone who is looking for a solution to the Oculus Rift USB connection issue.

Pros
  • I/O Port Cards
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Affordable USB 3.1 Gen 2 Pciex4 Board

I used this product with two external SSDs. The adapter draws power from the socket, so you don't have to fiddle with power cords, just plug and play. I have the fastest speeds available on my external drives and am happy with the performance so far.

Pros
  • Computer and Accessories
Cons
  • Ratio Kit

Easy to use for the average computer hobbyist

It's very similar to plug and play, except if you're using a computer that doesn't automatically install drivers. The only problem I had was when trying to plug the capture card into one of the ports. Possibly a compatibility issue with my specific cable or device. Other than that, it works well and is easy to use with everything else.

Pros
  • USB port cards
Cons
  • Fade out

Didn't work on download.

I was hoping to add USB-3 to an old IBM server that only had USB-2. This card works fine after OS boot (Linux) but fails during boot. I assume this applies to all USB-3 expansion cards.
