very comfortable and a perfect fit

I have a number of minor and minor issues with my feet and toes. I also go for walks a lot, go on short hikes and take dragon boat trips. At 85, foot problems are no surprise. As I say this, I'm fairly conscious of both the shoes I'm wearing and the socks I'm wearing. As we enter the cooler, wetter fall season here in Seattle. Proper socks are very important. I've only worn them a few times so it's probably too early to judge. But so far so good. I've worn them for easy hiking and also with…

High quality socks mostly made of cotton

These are very high quality socks. I bought a pack of blue and a pack of gray. I chose these mainly because of their 75% cotton content as my feet feel more comfortable and stay drier in a basic cotton sock. I am a woman with shoe size 11 and the men's size fits perfectly! Mid-weight sock, ideal for almost all weather conditions. The sock is high above the ankle, but is comfortably lower than round-necked socks. The inside of the toes is smooth and the heel fits well. The more compressed jersey

Thick, reliable, durable, not too hot

I was surprised at how comfortable and breathable these socks were when I received them. They appear to be quite fat but seem to breathe fairly well. I'm not an avid hiker or climber, but they were great for my hikes and walks (less than 5 miles at a time). I decided to take a chance instead of buying much more expensive "tried and tested" brands like SmartWool and Darn Tough, and I'm glad I did because I don't really need a $20+ pair of socks for walking need. I do. I have a pair of Darn…

High quality, comfortable and durable hiking socks

I'm an avid hiker and have recently bought some very good trail running shoes but I can tell you I'm still missing something. What was missing were hiking socks. These socks have added another layer of coziness to the fit of my trail running shoes, as well as much more cushioning and comfort overall! To be honest I can't say enough good things about her. In fact, yesterday I forgot to change my regular socks for hiking socks and I could tell a big difference compared to today when I didn't…

Good quality but snug fitting for men

I wear shoes from 10.5 - 11 if true to size. So it was listed as a size 9 or 10-13. But right now I just can't get used to them or get used to them. They're decently thick and probably really good if they fit. But being tight around is different than being too short. They squeeze my toes together, not just a tight pair that loosens up after a few minutes. I think because they are decent quality but they never weaken much. So day and night I have this very uncomfortable and frankly uncomfortable

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

budget bonus? in Hiking & Outdoor Recreation

I have expensive premium socks with padding, arch support, moisture wicking mesh, etc. They are comfortable and make all my shoes more comfortable to wear all day. Their prices seem ridiculous so I looked for a cheaper alternative. These Feideer socks seem like a good choice for my habits. Good cushioning and my feet don't tire like my more expensive socks. they are slightly thicker and hotter. Ventilation doesn't seem to be as efficient as premium socks. and I don't think there really is arch…
