I put them in a work lamp my brother gave me with the bulbs burned out. Whenever I install halogen bulbs I use Windex to clean the surface of the bulb first as grease from your skin or anything else can cause the bulb to crack as it heats up and burn it out even if you can't see a crack. In any case, be careful not to touch the bulb.

Works great, the first time I received the item it was sent by Revain in a broken cardboard post box. Regardless, this is a product review and this product works just as well as any other brand. Can't really comment on the run hours as it's a motion detector but for the price it works great to light up a large area. I highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 packs of 2 and kept them in a postal envelope until I needed them. As they are advertised as "Heavy Duty" I was looking forward to trying them out when the cheap bulb that came with my work lamp wore out.
