Great value for money

They're not as bright as 40w incandescent bulbs but generate almost no heat which leads me to believe they use very little power. Since there are 12 bulbs in my chandelier, there is enough light. All LEDs aren't as pretty as the old flame-shaped incandescent bulbs, but they aren't as ugly as most either. However, I wish the tubes weren't so bright yellow. The price is unbeatable! So far happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

What we need from bulbs

Our corridor and chandelier lights use this type of bulb. We took advantage of this when the lights went out in several corridors. It is a precise design and fits perfectly in the socket. It's also the same type of brightness and color that matches our other chandelier bulbs. I also saw them at Costco and thought I should have bought them there. But I've already opened and used them, and the return window has long since closed. This is a good article.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

They look great in open chandeliers

I originally bought them for a dining room chandelier. They look beautiful - the "LEDs" aren't little dots, but glowing stripes, similar to old lightbulbs. The color is warm white, almost luminous at full power. BUT they don't turn yellow in low light - that's the only thing I like most about incandescent bulbs - in low light they're more like candlelight. They fade quite a bit, but the color temperature stays the same as theirs. I ended up having to replace a lightbulb after 4 or 5 years…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are new competitors
