NOT AS RECOMMENDED OR PICTURED.

Gasket replaced with this and still leaking. THE SEAL DOES NOT MATCH THE PICTURE. Blue, without gum, acts as a sealant. Buy racing at its best and stick with OEM or GM products.

Pros
  • Radiator and accessories
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Works I think something like

First review. Not sure yet. A small leak/drip remains but no high pressure mist like I've experienced with a failed OEM gasket. I will double check the torque specs on the bolts, if they are properly torqued I will request an RMA and use a replacement washer manufacturer. (If you are reading this after February 2020 everything is fine)

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings everything is fine

Fel-Pro shit. I should have known better.

I've burned myself on Fel-Pro seals in the past. And it happened again. Never again will I buy anything called the Fel-Pro. The Fel-Pro replacement oil cooler gasket looked a little different than the original gasket which started leaking after 115,000 miles. The replacement gasket described here began to leak within a month and 1500 miles of installation. Do yourself a favor and get a genuine General Motors part for this repair!

Pros
  • Engine Cooling and Air Conditioning
Cons
  • Reliability

Not metal/rubber as shown

This is a Felpro gasket but paper/cardboard not metal and rubber as shown. I oiled the gasket and installed it today and it definitely fits the LS2. It seems easiest to set the ratchet to 1/4" and the bolts have 10mm heads. I'll have to see if it's leaking in the future. The incorrect image Revain is using is of MAHLE B31872, which is the same price (although it's not currently available in Prime), so it's probably a better choice.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Quality
