It's a smart design. My concern is that over time they will dry out and break, but so far they have all held up under the pressure. They are perfect for attaching branches to my parrot cage. No more dangerous wire or rope. I love new, innovative designs that someone immediately came up with to replace old ideas.

If you want them to keep computer cords tidy or charging cords under control when traveling, they will do it. I got them to keep the heavy duty extension rolled up and they just aren't designed for that. I can't fault them for not being designed for my purposes. My daughter loves them because of the many laces and fun colors. Just note that they are not designed for heavy use.

I finally found a cord that isn't too stiff (like hard plastic), doesn't fray like velcro, isn't too strong, and isn't too long. I mainly use them to manage hair dryer cords, straighteners, curling irons, etc., as well as overly long appliance cords. I mainly use them on cables that I have to manage every day.
