Description of ☕ Fellow Prismo Attachment - Enhance AeroPress Coffee Maker for Brewing Espresso-Style and No-Drip Immersion Coffees with Reusable Metal Filter

PRISMO AEROPRESS COFFEE MAKER ATTACHMENT - Prismo is a pressure actuated valve designed to attach to an AeroPress Coffee Maker to craft espresso-style coffees and creates a no drip seal for full immersion brews. PULLING A SHOT WITHOUT AN ESPRESSO MACHINE - Prismo’s special valve stays sealed until you press down and creates a build-up of pressure to brew coffee with a consistency closer to espresso. DITCH THE FLIP - Brew full-immersion coffees without inverting your AeroPress; Store leak-free in the fridge overnight for a cold brew with Prismo’s no-drip seal keeping your caffeinated contents contained until you decide to release them. STREAMLINED & MESS-FREE - Reusable etched fine stainless steel filter for consistent brews and a no-mess cleanup; Eliminating your need for paper filters, as Prismo’s reusable metal filter sustainably stops sludge in its tracks. EASY TO CLEAN - After plunging your Prismo, pop the coffee puck into your compost bin and wash with warm soapy water, air or towel dry thoroughly for next use.

I didn't manage to make espresso style

Great idea, but it doesn't seem to make a drink very different from other methods, and certainly far from anything I'm "espresso." -Style" would call. It relies on a very new/fresh Aeropress piston that forms an airtight seal and may just depend on some great technique I haven't mastered yet (I've watched a few YT videos). The filter did let some fine particles through, but I attribute that more to my fairly cheap grinder than to the quality of the filter. The build quality is excellent - the…

How much better? fits coffee filter

First of all, the pressure-actuated Prismo Nozzle fits VERY snugly on my AeroPress. tight enough that I had to use a can opener to screw it down. but it may loosen with use. Also, there is no such thing as a perfect seal, so the water level in the Aeropress "tank” is slightly reduced after filling. But less than the original Aeropress setup. By following Prismo's instructions for making coffee (using good ingredients), this device makes a cup of Americano that little bit better. Is it worth the

Edit[ed]: (02/06/18) Still running/producing the aero-pressed coffee it was designed for, with no espresso claims but "espresso style" of " Shot". Directly from the Fellow that "crema" is in quotation marks. Have you ever read the anatomy of an espresso shot? Definitely I will drink/taste coffee as is and any coffee making accessories/gadgets/products that pique my interest. http://fellowproducts.com/the-anatomy-of-an-espresso-style-shot/ Since receiving this last Wednesday, I'm still in the…

Good Aeropress attachment

I didn't buy this product hoping it would do something like espresso. The pressure required to prepare espresso is simply not possible with a linear piston. For the preparation of espresso, 9 bar of pressure is required, which corresponds to 130 psi. The size of the filter means you have to apply over 700 pounds of pressure to pour espresso through an aero press. Leverage can achieve this, but you will never achieve it. in the flask. However, this is a great product I wanted it for two reasons.

Love it for lots of good reasons

First I bought this because someone at my work lost part of the filter basket when I left it in the kitchen to dry. replacement and stumbled across it. First Impression: Very pleasantly satisfied - for various reasons previously expressed by others; Please note that the number of stars I have given is based on points 1, 2 and 3. I will not base the star count on a purely subjective metric (taste). incredulous as I just used it for the first time). Love the fact that it's only a 1 layer filter -

Best AeroPress Supplement Ever - 4.5 Stars

Background: I've been using the AeroPress (AP) for 9 years and make at least 2 cups with it almost every day (except when traveling). ). I have used paper filters and some stainless steel filters and now Fellow Prismo. I put off purchasing this unit for a few years because I found it difficult to justify the price. But my last metal filter failed, so I decided to give it a try. I confess that I didn't want to like this product and I expected to try it, find many flaws in it and end up storing…
