Worth it Decanter

I've been hand brewing for over a decade and one morning my Hario decanter which I've been using for almost 8 years broke. I immediately started looking for a replacement and decided on this one because of the double wall and presentation of the carafe. Based on other reviews I was concerned it would be very brittle and the lower bulb would crack and lose its insulation. Works but poor design

I love double insulated glassware and have lots of them in my kitchen, from espresso cups to large teacups and water glasses. So of course I was very happy to find a double glass coffee pot, as I always had the problem that my Hario v60 glass pot lost temperature quickly. So it finally arrived and I've been using it for a while. Despite being double insulated, it gets surprisingly hot on the outside, making it difficult to grab as it doesn't have a handle. The perfect glass carafe for pouring and keeping coffee warm.

First off I should say that this is a long review, albeit a detailed one. If you like reading details, if you want something fast, this isn't for you. If you want to make coffee, Chemex or a fake will do. Honestly, this decanter is just a decanter. What sets it apart is its double-walled construction, which retains more heat than the traditional single-walled Chemex.
