It is what it is. for accessories and consumables

This is definitely not for "on the go". I'm not going anywhere, I need 300+ discs. I bought several of these to catalog and store my music CD collection. I also need space for new CDs that I download and burn. That's a lot for a massive storage solution.

Tough Case: DVD Cases

I brought this item over 13 years ago and recently found it while cleaning out my basement. Then I brought and recorded many CDs and thanks to this case they were kept in good condition. It's quite heavy when full of CDs, but the handle makes it easy to carry this album around.

Pros
  • Elegant Design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Better price cheaper design

This CD storage box is better for home use, if you want to pack it in your car, look elsewhere. Case Logic costs more for less bulk but lasts longer. It can be difficult to pick up the CD with one hand when using it in a car because the CD eject slot is closed, unlike Case Logic.

Does what I want and lasts long

I bought this in 2004 when I decided to get rid of my CD cases and move them to something that takes up less space. It's been 7 years and it still works. I keep the CD on one side of the page and the notes/cover/etc. on the other hand. Ideal for those looking for long-term CD storage.

Pros
  • hands free

Exactly as advertised

Fits many drives as advertised which otherwise tends to aggravate my characteristic mess. Protect them and make them easier to find. Far better for this purpose than the various more expensive and less compact cases and organizers I've tried over the years. Suitable for a shelf with folders on 3 rings.

  • Great overall performance

Good Not the best in DVD cases

I was looking for a way to store all my CDs and DVDs more efficiently. I used to use the Genossen brand. A few months ago I enlarged my CD and DVD holder. For the price guys is a good product but the grip is pretty ordinary and the overall look is bullshit. It easily holds 256 CDs and comes with a duster. I like the feel of my Case logic holder, but if I upgraded to version 256 I'd have to pay $10-$15 more. I am happy with my purchase.

Good product for the price if not used for mobility

I bought this after realizing that twelve years of computing is the equivalent of a lot of optical discs. The cases are no less soft on the discs than my new Case Logic holders and definitely softer than pre 1997 Case Logic holders! It seems sturdy enough, and with media of this size, stitched pages are probably better than hard covers. This media is probably not the best for portable storage - the media is really hard to open unless it's on a flat surface. But for my purposes - lying under my…

Too much good

Before buying the Fellowes 320 disc case I also had a Caselogic 264 disc case. I liked the Fellowes because they were cheaper and lasted longer. The case is okay for the price, but here are my two main complaints: First, after filling the case with 320 discs, I found it incredibly difficult to close the case. It was so unwieldy that I chose not to snap it, which led to my second complaint. When I grabbed the unzipped case by the handle (which I do with my Caselogic) the entire folder fell to…

should I buy another one?

I have over 800 CDs in 15 albums of different sizes. I bought this album specifically to burn CDs and DVDs. (Be sure to read the part about storing HALF the CDs with their inlays before you buy.) This album is definitely (as everyone has said) pretty well made for storage. Don't expect this thing to hold up while traveling. Storing CDs back to back makes them difficult to insert and remove. I think they could be a little more generous on the size of each bag. I'm not sure about the durability…
