The actual dimensions are approximately 9'8" x 9'8" to fits on a standard 10' x 10' kennel. UV protected breathable polyethylene cover. 4-Ply reinforced binding tape for extra strength. Anti-rust grommets installed approximately 24" apart on all 4 sides. Maximum air passage

get strong zip ties

I like that it is strong enough for a storm but wind will blow the zip ties until it falls pics are after a storm blew through bought two of these one and a half is still intact one is for two male dogs the one that is still intact for shade in the summer and the other that is half intact is for two small piglets also for shade in the summer I do not intend to leave these out in the winter so I cant say how the will work for winter months

Great shade good for me

Bought this about a month ago. Really good shade and has survived 3 big Kansas storms with no signs of wear. They send plenty of zip ties so that's a plus too. Great product.

Pros
  • Used for shade in our chicken pens. Works great and provides great shade. Our chicks love it!
Cons
  • Some customers have complained that the material tears or fades easily over time, making it less durable than other kennel shade cover options

Great product for my opinion

Nice. little spendy. but nice. went up quick. it has stayed put in heavy rain and wind. gotta love that. we use these for shade over deck on west side of house. would recommend.

Great shade - my new review

Seems to work great. I just recently put it up, so don’t know how long it will last. Keeps my kennel much cooler! Customers using non-standard sized kennels may have trouble finding a shade cover that works with the dimensions of their fencing.

Put it up today . Nice piece. Wish that the wire ties were a little better quality. Will have to replace ASAP. Live in Florida so time will tell if it holds up to sun

good shade cover for dog kennel

great for providing shade for my pet dog. not quite big enough to cover the full 10X10 pen but it will do. my dog enjoys being out of the direct heat.

  • The material used for the shade cover is not waterproof, so customers will need to remove it during rain storms

so glad I did for my opinion

It does what it says. Only thing make sure you purchase more bungees, the ones that come with it are not enough to hold it in place. I had ordered more, so glad I did.

Pros
  • Even after rain storms it did not buckle, great tarp,little tricky to put up and not even.
Cons
  • While it provides shade for your dog, the FENCESMART4U kennel shade cover does not offer any additional functionality such as protection from bugs or inclement weather

Cool and Comfy in my review

Exactly as described, shipped quickly. Fits 10' x 10' pen perfectly. Strong stitching, secure grommets. I live where it is windy - always. Best part - QUIET! Unlike a tarp, snapping over her sweet head, this is gently protecting without the upsetting noise when the wind kicks up. Excellent full sun protection. Rain will come through, it is woven - not solid.

Does the job! No sagging!

I've had this for several months now it it has done beautifully! Shades my German Shepherds pen.does not hold water and sag.keeps he heat out! Fit my 10x10 pen fine. I'd purchase another if needed.
