I like these filters but they seem to stop working after about two weeks. If I remove the previous filter, it never looks that bad. However, I need to replace it as the humidifier works all the time without using water. I changed the filter and everything is great. But not for very long.

Filter, but not more than a month and not to be cleaned. You must get a new one. If there is anything that can be cleaned I would like to know. If it is not replaced quickly, the humidifier will stop working properly. Mine only works on filtered city water for about 4 weeks, after which it gets hard and breaks down.

These filters work efficiently and absorb well. They are easy to change. Every other time I fill in water I turn them upside down so both ends are used equally. The only drawback for me would be the cost. Just two filters for $26 is a bit pricey. They work well with my Honeywell HEB 685W console humidifier. Perhaps if you cut packaging costs, you can cut costs.

The price is excellent but these filters sag in a few days. With my humidifier, you can't tell if it's crushed inside or not, and sometimes I lift the humidifier case to turn the filter over and it settles and crumples into a little puddle inside. I wish I had bought two boxes of these. Next time I'd rather spend a few euros more for something better.

I've been buying Honeywell brand filters all winter and wanted to see if another brand could offer a better price. A Honeywell filter costs about $15 and lasts about 6-8 weeks. There were two of these $16 options, and each filter lasted about 3-4 weeks. Thus, they performed the same function for a shorter period of time. There was a big difference between price and lifespan as this grease filter comes in two packs, but you create twice as much dirt.

I have used a Honeywell humidifier for several years. When I started using it, the filters worked for almost a month, albeit with decreasing efficiency. The last filters I bought start to lose efficiency significantly after about 10 days. If I leave the humidifier on the highest setting, it takes me at least 18 hours to use up all the water. With new filters, filling takes about 12 hours. I have bought these filters from other sources in the past but these are the worst I have ever used.
