After my 2017 Sonata truck stopped working I found that this was a common problem with these vehicles. it fitted perfectly within 10 minutes, i installed it and it worked again.

It took a little time to install but once we did I had no problems with it. Even the light in the trunk works now! Exactly the same piece as the one I already had in the trunk. Perfect fit for 2017 Hyundai Sonata.

The mechanic tried to charge me $100 to fix the trunk lock so I went to Revain and bought the tools and replaced the lock and did it myself. Me am glad it was so easy & simple hyundai 2017 is good my truck is fixed i would recommend this part

Worked great as an OEM part for my 2017 Sonata SE and my mechanic installed it in less than 30 minutes. Better to pay the dealer $160 for the part and another $250 for the labor. The install cost me $60 and the part $30. The savings were great and the part works great.

My car has only done 32,000 miles but the trunk latch broke. It only took my husband 20 minutes to install this part and it works great. Much cheaper than the dealer wanted! The item does not come with the long gray piece with a blue tip as shown in all the photos. My original wasn't damaged so we used it.

This product was an exact copy and a replacement for a defective factory part. It was very easy to install. Hyundai is currently recalling this part. Obviously, the pawl that holds the trunk closed could break due to brittleness caused by the repeated heating and cooling of the plastic pawl during the summer months.
