Fits perfectly but failed a year after installation
This product was an exact copy and a replacement for a defective factory part. It was very easy to install. Hyundai is currently recalling this part. Obviously, the pawl that holds the trunk closed could break due to brittleness caused by the repeated heating and cooling of the plastic pawl during the summer months. This replacement part failed within 1 year of installation. Until a better plastic is used for the dog I cannot recommend this product. It will do the job but if you live in a warm climate I wouldn't expect it to last long.
