Save money and get a better quality product

The foot I got with the needles literally broke my new twin needle as soon as I tried to sew with it. The needles hit the foot and didn't go through the hole. Much better to buy a Schmetz brand twin needle and be able to choose if you want stretch/denim/etc twin needles.

Received 2 sets both defective

Received my first set and found that the 4mm needles were not in the center of the stem so they were at a 45 degree angle in the machine sat. Okay just a defect don't worry I'll just find a replacement. Replacement needles arrived today and the 4mm needles had the same defect and the needles were different lengths.

Pros
  • Stitching
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Perfect for knitwear!

This was my first experience with a twin needle. I bought these after reading that they can be used to hem knits as I needed to shorten a dress I had just bought but there wasn't enough overlock for that. After reading reviews that twin needles break easily, I watched a few videos online to make sure I was using them properly. I experimented with needle size, tension, and stitch length on scrap fabric and found what worked best for my machine. I also ended up using some elastic for a cleaner…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Big and Chunky
