Worked great on my first fabric restoration project.

We had an old ladder chair that needed a seat restoration so I decided to give it a try. It's good material and the perfect length. I ended up with only about 6 feet left. If you've never done this before, there are some good videos on YouTube. I made my own wedges and pins from scrap wood and sharp bits of small branches rather than buying them.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

End of reel on last of 4 chairs I've woven. The new roll I ordered had the batch of dye cut off but as this was my first time restoring the seats I left that until they needed to be redone again. Also, the quality is great and it's easy to work with. Just order everything you need at once to make sure they all fit before you start.

Pros
  • 1 year free trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Works well

I bought this for a 'trial' chair I bought cheap before attempting to redesign my kitchen chairs that we have had for almost four decades. I watched the videos on YouTube, everything is fine the first time. I think I will use less rope when remodeling the kitchen chairs. I like it like this. This rope is paper based so a word of caution. Many videos suggest soaking the rope for 20-30 minutes. I would suggest less because if you wet it too much it will sometimes start to disintegrate. you just…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
