Lightweight Flywheel for Performance Gains

I recently upgraded my car with a lightweight flywheel and I can't believe the difference it made. According to my experience, the Fidanza flywheel is top-notch in terms of quality and performance. It improved the acceleration, and the engine revs faster making the driving experience more enjoyable. The only downside is that the idle may require a little more RPM to prevent stalling .Overall, I would highly recommend this flywheel for any car enthusiasts looking to improve their vehicle`s…

Pros
  • Lightweight, improved acceleration, faster revving engine
Cons
  • May require a little more RPM for idle

Disappointing Flywheel for Automotive Use

The flywheel was not up to my expectations. It was quite disappointing as it made a loud noise and did not provide the expected acceleration .The aluminum material may cause problems and it cannot tolerate high temperatures for long periods. The only pro is its price, which is not worth the low quality of this flywheel..

Pros
  • Improved engine response and acceleration due to lightweight design
Cons
  • Requires professional installation for proper fitment

Must be balanced before use

Nice and light. Needs balancing for full performance - mine was disabled at 28. See if there is anything you can do before committing to it. Get the balanced PP you'll be using while you're at it. Balancing the clutch cost me $70.

Pros
  • Fits GM LS1/LS6
Cons
  • Negative present
