What a perfect illustration of the difference between the leather stain I used and the color of the leather. I was expecting a dark brownish green. This happens on vegetable tanned leather that looks almost like lacquer. If that's what you need, then great.

After years of abuse and exposure to the sun, my motorcycle saddle has gone from black to a disgusting grey-green. I have used this color and it has restored my saddle to the deep black it was when I first bought it. Use sealer if you don't want the stain to get onto your clothing or skin.

As described and very easy to use. I tried to dye/dye my pink shoes that I received but as you can see in the photos they are dark purple. I used acetone before applying the stain, but after applying four coats it still didn't get very dark and uneven, but that's due to the method of application (I used a sponge). I think if I had used a stronger acetone before applying it would have worked better. As for the uneven app, I really like the look of it as it looks unique. Generally satisfied, 8/10
