🎨 Fiebing’s Edge Kote - 4 Oz. Dark Brown Color Coating for Leather Edges Review

Pretty good product but too watery and liquid to give leather straps a new shine. It took ages to build up the layer thickness (12 or more applications). And contrary to the description, the dried product is very shiny; great if that's what you want, but I was expecting the finish to have a slight sheen.

I bought a previously loved LV Multicartes that has lost most of the glass around the edges. I masked off the zippered areas with masking tape, then used Edge Kote (dark brown) and applied gently with a pointed cotton swab. It lightly covered all the edges and blended perfectly with the existing frosting. Looks like new again! Highly recommended!

I use this product on the edges of my wallets and love it. Usually it looks good after 1 coat but I apply 2-3 coats for more protection. The color is dark brown which goes well with the brown color I used. I personally apply after buffing the edges and love the look. After drying I wipe it with a cloth or literally a paper towel. Good product.

I ordered this item because I wanted to restore my Gucci bag. It worked exactly as advertised. It is very easy to use and the whole process took 10-15 minutes. There is no applicator in the pack, I just used a brush to paint my daughter. Since it has dried and I have a second coat, it's impossible to tell the original coating from the restored spots - it fits perfectly.
