This replacement works well but the auto lock feature is not as good as the original part. I have to use rubber bands to hold the wand in place during cleaning or it will fall apart.

I had to buy this filter king wand to replace the original wand that broke in the vacuum hose it attaches to. It's only plastic in the head and hasn't held up after years of use. I wish it was made out of a more durable material. However, I love my filter Queen Vacuum. It works so well it makes my carpet a lot cleaner than our Kirby.

This product performs well. One thing to watch out for if you're buying an old vacuum like we did. They updated the design and now it doesn't fit into the base as easily. I almost returned it thinking it wouldn't fit the filter queen and then my son pushed it really hard into the base and it snapped into place. After blocking it works great! I haven't unplugged it yet. The wand itself works well.

I have used the Queen filter for many years and am very happy with it. About 3 years ago I had to replace this wand after so much use due to a lack or bad connection. Then he replaced it, but not so long ago the upper part of the stick broke. It feels like the plastic near the handle has snapped. So I swapped it again. The new one works great. I hope this one lasts longer than the previous one.

I am very disappointed with this vacuum cleaner. At first I thought it was great because it sucks very well and pulls well. However, I hardly used the machine and the end where the power head attaches to the wand broke. In fact, the end of the wand broke off. Why would anyone attach plastic to metal?
