Fingerless 23" Long Bridal Satin Gloves Over The Elbow In 20 Colors Review

The color is as pictured (peacock blue) and the thick spandex fabric feels great, but they are pretty poorly made. There were two 2-inch holes in the inside seam of one glove where the stitching missed the second layer of fabric, and the finger loop tore off of the other glove as soon as I tried it on. I have a sewing machine so I was able to easily fix both problems, but shouldn't have needed to in the first place. Now that they're free of holes, they're going to look great with my Mardi Gras…

The color was Ivory but I'd say it was more like Champagne. They were too dark for my Ivory wedding dress. Plus, the material was not smooth and there were little hooks of thread sticking out all around. You can see the poor quality of the material in some of my wedding photos. I was originally not going to wear gloves but the weather forecast said it was going to be chilly so I added these on. I purchased two pair to be part of two costumes in a theater production. Given that the gloves extend well above the elbow, my biggest concern was that they stay there rather than slipping down as such long gloves are prone to do. Further the gloves needed to withstand an on-stage struggle, plus, one actress had rather slim arms. No problem, the gloves stayed up perfectly for both actresses! The fabric has a little stretch to it which, no doubt, helped and were well constructed. I was thrilled…

Finger loop could be better sewn on but the satin is soft and has a nice stretch. Don’t pull too hard or put too much pull/pressure on the finger loop & it shouldn’t break.

Wore them for my fairy costume and fit well. Only thing is the string to go around ur finger popped off both of mine - got the one in pink. But it’s a one time wear thing for halloween so no biggie

My arms are shorter than most, so I don't know if the length will be the same on everyone- they went a few inches past my elbow- which is perfect because that is the length I wanted. They stayed on without slipping and they are perfect for the use I have in mind. They seem solidly sewn and and appear as they do in the display.

I purchased lavender gloves. The texture is great but the color is extremely mute and not lavender at all, just an off white with a tint of grey

Very pretty and we’re used as a prop to entertain children. Not sure if they stretch enough if you have bigger arms. Thanks for attention.

I have the skinniest arms ever. I doubted these would fit but to my surprise they DID! The material was soft, silky and comfortable. It was the final piece to complete my look for the masquerade ball.

I returned it because it was really glossy, which was in the description. I needed a matte finish but if you want a glossy, this fit really nice.

I'm so thrilled with these gloves. I decided at the last minute to order these along with my flapper dress. Usually, I'm self conscious about my arms but theses were the perfect fix for wearing a sleeveless flapper dress. I wore them for 5 hrs straight at a charity event. Super comfortable and extremely flattering. The perfect accent!

My daughter wore these gloves to her senior prom and they were absolutely stunning. She is very slender but we were also very careful, after reading the reviews, while pulling them up and also with the finger loop. They are so beautiful and were the perfect compliment to her dress. We would highly recommend!

these fit ALL occasions! i bought the green ones for my poison ivy halloween costume and they fit AMAZING! the material is stretchy and breathable and the length is just *mwah*! i absolutely love these gloves!

Good gloves for poison ivy costume. Kept me warmer than without. Will reuse for Winnifred Sanderson costume next year. Good quality

Bought for a Halloween costume featuring Poison Ivy from the Batman franchise. Color was faithful to the photo (a rich hunter green with just a light satin sheen) and the stitch-work and fit was almost bridal quality. I only wore it for one night, but had no complaints whatsoever. Definitely wasn't expecting much, but I was impressed all the same. Would definitely buy again.

These look nice and fit fine but aren't the greatest quality. There are already some pulls in the fabric and the stitching was already coming out before I tried it on. Stitching appears to be minimized, maybe to look nice (?), but there's no surging or even backstitching at the hand portion. Definitely wouldn't be good if you want to wear them more than once.

I absolutely love this! I am a larger girl like 1X or 2X so this does not stay passed my elbow. I am not going to rate it bad because well not everything works for larger girls and I get that. ***Double Sided Tape*** I absolutely loved the color. It was for a costume. I was gentle with the material around my finger because well you need to be and I had no issues.

Im a size 16 gal. These were a bit tight. Wanted to rool down at the top and had a bit if a rubber band effect. But they looked great! :)
