I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the tablet fits perfectly in the case, the keyboard stays tight, the stand is fine. This may be too long for many surfaces, but I don't know how much it can be improved. I don't think the keyboard can be shorter. The band keeps it perfectly closed. Works great and fits the tablet perfectly. These keyboards stay charged for a very long time! I don't use my Extreme, but I never charge it. The case is good, holds up well. My daughter hasn't had it long enough to see if the design would hold up or not, but it looks like it will. I bought this keyboard/book for some old Samsung tablets (Tab S2 and Tab E) and am very happy with it. Fintie keyboards work well. I had no problems with them at all. Fintie's leaves were amazing too. I can't give this new one a five for my Tab A as it has no way of protecting the tablet's screen when the folio is closed like the older models did.
