Children have dropped the remote control so many times that the battery cover has broken and cannot be held without the tape. Then they came loose and played with the tape, making the remote sticky. This does a great job of keeping the battery door in place and protecting it from future falls.

Bought because the battery compartment was broken and kept coming loose and I didn't want to tape it shut. It worked great. The fit is perfect and does not interfere with wearing. It has a good grip so it is convenient to hold and not easy to fall off. I wish I had bought it sooner to protect my remote control. I highly recommend it.

I don't know what happened but I had problems with this remote control where the battery cover kept falling off so I thought it would work. The problem is that (1) there is no hole on the left side for the headphone jack on the remote (I could poke a small hole there on the left side to make it work, but.). (2) It does not mount it remote control. My ROKU 55UP130 55" TV is a couple of years old and this cover doesn't fit the remote - apparently not wide enough - so I'm sending it back…

We love this bag! I can't say enough about it. It has an extra piece on the back of the case that protrudes a bit but therefore offers a bit of padding and feels like a bit of padding but also helps make it more boxy. It also has a very soft, smooth silicone to the touch. The TCL Roku remote is already smaller than the standard size and this case makes it really comfortable and protects it. We'll definitely be getting different colors for our other TVs in the house. Would definitely recommend…

My first TCL Roku remote split and spilled water on the coffee table! The batteries are rusty and the side buttons no longer work with the volume! This cover really offers protection from all sides! Not all Roku remotes are created equal and this case only fits the RC280. I can only assume that the other negative reviewers didn't bother not to notice the difference. You wouldn't buy an iPhone 8 case to put on your iPhone X! This is a very nice, VERY protective case for the Roku remote.
