The most valuable tool for my basement renovation project so far!

This was the most valuable tool I bought for my basement renovation project. framework of my 1300 sqm. Feet would be much more difficult without this excellent tool. This value for money far exceeds any other tool in my arsenal! First I had to lay pressure treated baseboards on the concrete floor for the floating walls needed here in Colorado. I removed the line 4 inches from the window sill and attached the baseboards to that line using construction glue and Ramset nails. I then used a spirit…

Pros
  • IP55 waterproof and 3.3ft drop tested.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Very nice little laser

This is a good little spirit level, the price of which (I paid $50) makes it a very good deal. I bought it to level the floor in our garage and using it saved me from some costly mistakes as it revealed different problems than I had suspected with the naked eye. That alone made it worth the price and more and I haven't even used it on a number of other projects we have. Indoors, the laser is strong enough and the line is visible. After shopping, I found that similar lasers were much more…

Pros
  • One button operation to toggle three laser line modes: horizontal, plumb and cross line.
Cons
  • You could get a newer model

Not used that much but still works excellent. I received these a few days ago. I'm a self-proclaimed do-it-yourselfer, ie I only work on my home and I'm an amateur, but I enjoy improving my home. I often had trouble aligning things so that the end product was to my satisfaction. I really think this thing will help. I'm currently building a cobblestone walkway around part of my house. I did about 1/3 and wasn't very happy with the flatness, but couldn't afford professional outdoor laser levels…
