💄 Safe and Stylish: My First Makeup Set for Girls - Non-Toxic, Tested for Safety, Original Design Review

A 5 year old girl loved Santa's kit but it was her first makeup kit and she should have liked everything. Makeup portions are very poor and the brush applicator was harsh and harsh. The lip gloss leaves no color or shine at all. And just 1 shade of eyeshadow and 1 shade of blush actually leaves color on the face. The mirror inside is junk too, but it can't break, so I think that's a good thing. I just can't use a mirror to see myself. I would give it a 2 but I gave it a 3 because my daughter…

, Daughter loved it for Christmas but the little brushes got lost or broke pretty quickly. I had to use my makeup brushes and cotton balls to make her play. The drawers are a bit sticky so her 5 year old hands had a hard time opening them and they came out too easily and weren't easy to put back in. Maybe there should be a slightly different way of getting everything in a box that's more for kids. BHN Ventures contacted me after my post to try and make us happy. They have given me a few options

Just opened to check before I wrap it up for a birthday present today. The makeup is unpresentable, I had to wipe it off as everything was in powder shadows. How can you in the photo why! The eye shadow was scattered and everywhere! There is also a deep scratch (see 2 photos) when I touched it it was sharp. As I can't return it as the birthday present is today 11/21/2018. I had to tell the parents about the sharp scratch so they could make sure the baby didn't get hurt. Low quality!

A good gift for a 6 year old girl. She likes it, but out of curiosity she quickly removed the foam tip of one of the applicators. I would recommend parents to replace these applicators with Q types and the manufacturer to make the applicator out of plastic with a well rounded foam rubber tip. Be that as it may, there is a metal spike underneath the foam rubber that can cause damage. Without this detail I would give this makeup set 5 stars.

The set came in 2 days, corresponded to the declaration. My granddaughter loves it, she has played with it and wants to take it everywhere. Sometimes it is applied quite heavily, but it is washed off very easily. Holds up well and great price. She is 3 years old and it was a great toy for her to play makeover with her mother and Nana.

We bought this for our daughter's 5th birthday. It was one of her favorite gifts. The side compartments can be pulled out easily. I like that they snap into place and make the case compact enough to carry in a purse when closed. The mirror isn't great, but when you're 5 years old you don't really care about these things - and it's cheap, so we certainly didn't expect it to be pro quality. She has already made several "transformations". ;)
