Does what it should

There is nothing more to say. This is the hydraulic fluid bottle when you apply the brake/clutch. It's easy to fill, just attaches to the tank - it gets the job done.

Pros
  • Solid workmanship
Cons
  • Has defects

Very well made main cylinder filler

My Mityvac filler stopped working after 4 months. I bought this as a spare, it's built to a much higher standard, very heavy compared to the Mityvac. Time will tell but the first time I used it was today and everything went fine.

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • only available in black

a bit slow for brake tools

I picked this up with a vacuum brake bleeder that uses an air compressor. It will not keep up with this attitude. The brake reservoir was almost dry one day so I still had to get up and fill it by hand even with this one attached. That's a great idea, just needs more flow

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Empty

Brake relief

When I first saw this I wasn't sure if it would hold up. After inspecting the bottle and valve, I found this to be a well-made device. The design is simple and the construction reliable. This made my braking job a lot easier because I didn't have to worry about keeping the master cylinder full.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Hard to say

Didn't know it would be awesome

I never thought how comfy it could be! I was concerned (still slightly) that the clamp would damage the master cylinder lip when full (weight and leverage), but with careful placement there were no kinks or tears. At first I thought I should have bought a smaller size but this size is perfect.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Out of fashion

worked great for tools and gear

So I've been doing the old school thing of constantly getting up and filling the tank while the brakes and hydraulic clutches are being bled/flushed for YEARS. First you close the valve, fill the bottle, clamp it to the rim of the tank and open the valve. I've used this in combination with a Capri vacuum bleeder and it worked great, I don't think I've ever bled the system that quickly, I did it in less than 10 minutes with one clean. Great tool, highly recommend.

Not so good for brake bleeders

I bought this to see if I can install it and forget about working with one person. Boy was I struggling to get this to work properly. Also, at the end of the day you can only fill it about a third full and it doesn't work consistently when bleeding the brakes. Second, the valve is faulty. The valve lets liquid through. Third. Very bad design yoke, great idea but the build was a very bad build choice. I ended up just going the old fashioned way of physically checking the brake fluid level and I…

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
