✒️ Optimized Fisher Cap-O-Matic Space Pen with Stylus Review

Great grip. Some people have complained about the stylist falling off or not being durable. I'm an airline pilot and I use it on my iPad quite a bit. I use a lot of pressure and it spends most of my time in dry air at higher altitudes and I've had no problems with it. Works great and I would buy it again. The pen writes very well on any type of paper and over a wide temperature range. I'm a fan.

My fingers don't work well due to nerve damage, so I use a pen with my phone. I've used Cross® probes, but after changing them a few times and replacing the rubber tip several times, I decided to get a new one. I've been using the Fisher Space Pen for about 2 weeks now and I love it! It's easier to hold and navigate than the Cross®, plus it writes better! A very happy purchase!

I wanted a space pen and also needed a stylus for my iPad. When I noticed that this one has a 2 in 1, I went for it. I upload a lot of EPUB files and markup/take notes while I study. The stylus is often unresponsive and doesn't even come close to using a finger. Also, the design of the pen isn't the best. It rattles when moved and part of the needle feels weak. To be advised.

The pen writes well and feels good in the hand. The click retract action is positive and consistent. Part of the stylus cap fell off after about a month of ownership, and the replacement stylus tips are nearly the cost of the pen when shipped. The pocket clip does not slide smoothly over the thick fabrics of shirt pockets, which is sometimes annoying. If I were to pick up this pen again I would take a regular Matic cap but in reality I would take another Parker Jotter and install a Fisher ink…

Love my space pen! It writes great, is comfortable and has a nice classic look. The pen feels comfortable. I see quite a few people commenting on the durability of the pen. I've found it to last a long time if you use it as a stylus and don't play with it. When I fidgeted and clicked my fingers, I had problems and had to replace the pen tip. I'll start with this; Despite my 3 star rating, I would not recommend buying this pen. I'll get to the why in a moment. Good things first. I have owned several Fisher Bullet Pens in the past. I've always liked the way they write, but never liked the fact that they don't come with pocket clips to attach to my bags.
