Very, very helpful.

I use them for everything. Replacement of poles with zippers. Add them to individual keys for easier removal and beautiful hanging. I've fixed many weird broken parts that use a hinge or connector. They are also the same size and look as the ring that comes with the Victorinox small pocket knives.

Pros
  • Approximate inner diameter 7.62mm / 0.300in
Cons
  • Available in black only

Good strong split rings

Not suitable for bait fishing but work great as general purpose split rings for keys etc. It's not always easy to find small split rings that are really strong and that you can rely on to hold your belongings, but they may be just what you need. I've only distorted one, and that's the connection point between the S-Binner, which I use to control my keys, and the tiny bottle cap pliers. It took a lot of effort, and even though it was deformed, it still works.

Pros
  • Nickel plated stainless steel
Cons
  • Some bugs

Good size ideal for connecting to small S-Biners

I use these to fix the duck my daughter earned with jumping tires. I've also used this to improve traction on some zips. They will easily fit a pair of #1 S-biners and maybe at least one #2 S-biner, although I have yet to try a #2 S-biner of that particular size. I also like that it weighs less than the 1" zinc plated keyrings I've bought which is a factor I have to consider since they attach to the bags I put in my luggage. I also used this as a stopper to keep the cable from slipping through…

Pros
  • Approx. thickness 0.040" / 1.02mm
Cons
  • Long delivery
