Perfect little scissors

I sew A LOT and about half the time I use 69 thread. I'm starting to get problems with arthritis and taking my hands off the scissors to cut the thread, especially the thick ones, has become a problem. They are very sharp, very strong and make a clean cut every time. Fiskars has never made a product that doesn't work.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Very expensive

Sewing machine scissors

I don't know why I missed out on buying these before. I've watched a lot of videos on how to make Covid 'masks' and it seems everyone has one. I love it. Small enough to fit on my sewing machine but not too small to fit my fat fingers. I guess I just wish they had a lock but if I looked further I would probably find a pair of Fiskars but they were great nonetheless.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Not the best

Scissors for making masks!

I LOVE these little scissors! I have a cyst on my thumb which makes using conventional scissors painful. I bought them when COVID-19 first showed up when I started making masks. They are great for trimming thread/cord etc. You don't have to lift heavy/long scissors every time which also saves time. Not suitable for cutting thick fabrics/threads, but they are not made for that anyway. I would recommend to anyone who sews!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some problems

Pretty threads are cut!

Great little thread scissors to have handy when sewing. I am doing counted cross stitches and need something sharp enough to get very close to the fabric without cutting other threads or the fabric itself. So far, so good! I wish they had a way to close them for storage or travel but I couldn't figure out how. So be careful when storing them with your projects - you don't want those sharp ends catching or puncturing your work!

Pros
  • Tools & Household Items
Cons
  • Not Safe

I am learning to sew masks. I used to use small scissors to trim the threads from a sewn piece that was removed from the machine. I found this tedious as I fumbled awkwardly with inserting/removing my thumb from these tiny scissors EVERY time I needed to cut the thread. These scissors solved those problems for me! They were a tremendous time saver for me. It's a handy tool worth investing in as it will help you work more efficiently.

Pros
  • Power tools and hand tools
Cons
  • Small parts

Cutting knife and scissors

I now have five of these cutting knives that I use on every job I do in my sewing and machine embroidery work and a few spares in case the Fiskars ever stop designing. The amazing thing about these scissors compared to other designs is that when you pick them up, the open, rounded handle allows you to slip your finger in and instantly fold them right into your hand. Mine come in a pencil holder, so I just slide my ring finger into the pencil and I'm ready to cut any thread in a jiffy. With 16…

Pros
  • with a great design Cutting knife and scissors
