🔪 Fiskars Amplify RazorEdge Fabric Shears 10 Inch: Efficient Orange Sewing Scissors Review

There are a few black marks on the handle, smudged in several places, the cap didn't fit. It's like the stylus has been replaced with another old one (not the same orange colour) as the other one has clearly been used, not exactly by Fiskars - probably both.

To be honest, the name says it all. I've spent about $60 on scissors at Revain in the last 2 weeks and after getting things that seem really heavy and high quality they just can't cut anything. I finally got the well known Fiskars brand and I feel like they can shop through silk or chicken bones

The 6 inch shears I ordered "new" condition had faded handles and distinct black stains of oil or grease. Very disappointed. When I buy new products I expect them to look like new. They look like they've been stored in the bottom of an old tool box for years. What's happening?

I'm a seamstress and I usually buy gingher clothes but I've tried these and I'm very impressed! Although they are 10 inches tall, they are very easy to handle. And my god, they are so HOT! Cut through the fabric like butter. Unfortunately someone caught my first pair, cut out something other than the fabric and ruined them. I happily order another pair because they are worth it!

Great scissors at a great price. I love that it has a sheath to cover the blades when not in use. This way the blades stay in great shape no matter how many times they're thrown in the sewing machine. I also like that the thumb hole is not rubberized so your thumb slides easily when cutting and the finger hole is rubberized and keeps the scissors steady. Simply a well designed tool in everything

Bought to prepare for cosplay. They easily cut through fabrics and most foams without leaving jagged bits. It cut smoothly through 6mm foam, but I had some trouble getting a straight and even cut at 10mm, but at this point you should probably use a hot knife or Xacto to score it first. The scissors are sharp and you must use them with care. I would not leave them anywhere for children to find them.

Amazing Scissors. I've been using crappy scissors from Walmart for months, they did the job. hardly. One day I decided it was time to break down and spend over $5 and get something good. They cut easily and straight through my vinyl. The Amplify technology really works to keep the scissors from falling apart. Fisker's products are always a hit and these shears are no different.

I've been looking for a pair of scissors like this for a long time. This brand and model was recommended in a youtube guide I saw on how to cut felt shapes more accurately. I'm an artist making my own illustrated jewelry using both small and large shapes and they get the job done. I tested it on corrugated board and was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it cuts. Love the fact that it comes with a protective case to protect the blades between uses.

I have some Fiskar shears at home and I really like them. I decided to buy a heavy model with the supposed "boost technology" for the garage so I can easily cut some things I bump into there sometimes. Although these scissors work similarly to all of our other Fiskar scissors, there is nothing special about the "amplification". That means they share the same pivot point for both blades as all of our other Fiskar shears. It has a nice blade cover but is barely worth paying $28.20 (10" length)…
