Can actually cut but hopefully doesn't poke your eye out

Scissors that my 4 year old can actually use to cut things, but with a protective cover so I don't have to worry (if they use it does wear it) via her scissor run. (Who would have thought this was really a cause for concern, but the other day she was carrying sharp scissors to friends and I could just see her tripping and digging out her eye). Good quality, she likes the red cover. and they fit in little hands.

Pros
  • Craft supplies
Cons
  • So far so good

They even have a blade sheath!

I was expecting regular children's scissors but they come with a red cap to cover the sharp part! This is the best idea for children. Especially for my son with ADHD who sometimes gets fed up without thinking about the consequences. There will be a great deal of "extra security" at school, so I'm not worried about him blindly sticking his hands in his desk looking for a pair of scissors. Again BEST IDEA! Will definitely be recommending them to other moms and dads at school!

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Durable, cuts and has a lid!

My four year old loves these scissors. They're solid and heavy enough to feel like the real tool they are. They cut paper and yard very well. We didn't try to cut fabric. They also cut their hair (found out from experience, oops!). The best part is the snug fitting lid that covers the tips of the scissors when moving around the room or storing in a pencil case. I would buy it again but I think the quality is such that I don't have to!

Pros
  • Kraft
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
