Best Blades

Cutting cardboard really ruins the blades. They have lasted much longer than other brands. I never thought a cardboard box could dull a blade so quickly, so make sure you buy a good brand. I usually use it to trim my board so I have more room in my junk so I don't use them every day.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Not as thick as other pickaxes

No noticeable difference, just expensive blades.

Detailed reviews not required. Essentially, you are paying for the Fiskars name. They lasted no longer than your typical sk5 utility blades. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I'd rather spend $10 on a pack of 100 blades than $5 on 5 Fiskars blades. Unfortunately they are not worth it. Expected more from Fiskars.

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Available in black only

Best of the three brands I've tried

I work in a paper mill and was looking for a durable blade that would hold its edge. I've tried expensive gold-tipped Lennox blades. They creased every time I cut a 1/2 inch piece of paper. I also tried the Kutir brand. They were sharp but too thin, and about half broke before they could dull. So far these Fiskars have held up the best. I didn't have a break or kink. I just wish they could hold their lead a little longer.

Pros
  • Utility knife
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
